Establishing Thousands of Schools and Funding Literacy Programs
NIB gives great attention to basic education and literacy projects. It is well-known that education stands as a cornerstone to achieve any desirable economic and social development. NIB, therefore, pumps over three billion pounds a year in the General Authority for Educational Buildings (GAEB), which plays a prominent effort to establish new schools and renovates dilapidated ones. The NIB also pumps great investments in literacy projects, so as to improve the available manpower in the country, and to take advantage of their capabilities to achieve progress and prosperity.
